St. Luke’s Head of School Mark Davis recently conducted a virtual interview with New Canaan residents and St. Luke’s parents Tina Kramer, co-founder of the nonprofit Filling in the Blanks and Kristin Thomas, fundraiser and grant writer for the organization. Davis asked what drives them to do the hard work of moving their community forward.

Since its founding in 2013, Filling in the Blanks has provided more than 170,000 meals to children in need. The onset of coronavirus and school closings have made this work more challenging and more essential than ever.

In support of Filling in the Blanks, St. Luke’s Center for Leadership and Storm Athletics have organized a Virtual 5K to Outrun Hunger to be held on Tuesday, May 5, from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Anyone interested in participating can register for the run at https://runsignup.com/Race/CT/FairfieldCounty/UniteToFight5k.
